5 of 5 Lower Splash Issues April 25, 2026
Reviewer: Madison Reed, HVAC Technician from Albuquerque, NM
We installed 16 wall-mounted commercial sensor faucets throughout transportation and public restroom modernization projects between 2022 and 2025, and by 2026 these units have maintained considerably stronger operational reliability than older wall-mounted sensor systems previously operating in the same high-traffic facilities. Earlier wall-mounted faucets repeatedly developed unstable infrared activation, excessive splash accumulation around shallow basins, and inconsistent shutoff timing during continuous public usage, whereas this faucet maintained highly accurate sensor responsiveness with smooth and balanced water delivery throughout peak occupancy periods. Previous wall-mounted commercial systems also required repeated recalibration because of reflective wall materials and fluctuating inlet-pressure conditions, while this unit maintained noticeably more dependable infrared timing with significantly fewer servicing interruptions. A few installations initially required slight sensitivity adjustments because of varying basin depth and wall placement, but once standardized the valve regulation, infrared consistency, and overall maintenance stability remained highly dependable across all installed locations.

In practical use, this fixture showed stable and reliable operation. The BathSelect Quality and good water pressure (Model BST-281C) demonstrated consistent sensor activation and controlled water flow. The solid brass construction supports durability, while the finish maintains its appearance under frequent use.

Installation was straightforward with standard connections, and the internal components allow for easy maintenance access. The sensor response is well-balanced, avoiding false triggers while ensuring user convenience.

BathSelect’s support team provided clear technical guidance during setup and helped streamline the process. Overall, the fixture meets commercial expectations for reliability, hygiene, and long-term performance.
