Before upgrading to the Rio sensor faucet across several transportation and healthcare facilities between 2021 and 2024, we consistently dealt with older touchless systems that suffered from unstable infrared calibration, delayed shutoff timing, and finish degradation under heavy cleaning schedules. The Rio faucet delivered a noticeably more dependable long-term performance profile. Its intelligent infrared sensor maintained accurate activation without excessive false triggering, while the brass valve body and sealed solenoid assembly operated reliably even in high-moisture commercial environments. The oil-rubbed bronze finish also held up exceptionally well against corrosion, spotting, and coating wear compared to previous decorative sensor fixtures we had maintained. From a maintenance and facilities-management perspective, the faucet remained highly consistent across multiple locations. Water flow regulation stayed stable, battery efficiency exceeded expectations, and recalibration requirements were minimal throughout years of continuous daily usage. Compared to earlier commercial touchless models installed in the same properties, the Rio sensor faucet significantly reduced maintenance interruptions while improving overall restroom reliability and user consistency.”
