✥ Sensor Calibration Procedure? +
Complete sensor commissioning after the basin, countertop and surrounding fixtures are installed. The micro-computer controlled infrared system can self-adjust its detection zone according to lavatory color and geometry, while sensing distance can also be field adjusted.
◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +
Flush the supply piping before final connection, verify the DN15 or 1/2-inch NPT supply connection, inspect the built-in strainer and confirm stable dynamic pressure before commissioning the electronic valve.
◯ Flow Rate Verification? +
The detailed faucet specification lists a 2.2 GPM standard mesh aerator. If field discharge is restricted, inspect the aerator, inlet filtration and available dynamic pressure before servicing the solenoid assembly.
↻ Automatic Shutoff Operation? +
The faucet is factory configured with an approximately 30-second automatic shutoff that can be adjusted. A separate anti-vandal control limits continuous operation to approximately 60 seconds.

Value engineering challenged the gold Solo during our restaurant renovation because it was more visually ambitious than the basic sensor faucets proposed as substitutes. Ownership retained it after comparing both options against the completed vanity materials. Automatic hands-free operation satisfied the practical requirement, while the gold finish carried the hospitality concept through an area guests regularly encounter. Opening-month traffic produced no unexpected operational concerns. Keeping the original specification ultimately protected a visible part of the design without compromising everyday usability.

After repeated maintenance issues with older gooseneck touchless faucets losing calibration under heavy public usage, we upgraded several municipal restroom facilities to the Solo Gold Faucet between 2022 and 2024.The faucet maintained highly accurate infrared responsiveness throughout continuous high-cycle operation, while the gooseneck structure improved sink accessibility and reduced splash accumulation around countertop areas.
