Gold and matte black could have been too busy, but the Rook combination works best when the rest of the washroom is kept restrained. Against neutral counters, the two finishes give the faucet genuine architectural presence without requiring an elaborate shape. The black portions will show dried water sooner, so this is not a completely maintenance-neutral choice. Still, the hands-free format keeps the user experience uncomplicated. For contemporary hotels, restaurants, or executive spaces, it offers considerably more personality than a standard sensor faucet without becoming impractical.

Building occupants previously reported inconsistent activation that often led to unnecessary frustration during busy office hours. After replacing those fixtures with this model, the complaints stopped almost immediately, and dependable performance has continued through daily commercial use.

Following several executive office restroom upgrades where decorative black-and-gold faucets repeatedly developed finish fading and inconsistent infrared response, we transitioned multiple facilities to the Rook Gold Faucet between 2021 and 2024.The faucet maintained highly dependable touchless responsiveness during continuous commercial usage, while the matte-black-and-gold finish resisted moisture exposure and aggressive cleaning schedules significantly better than previous designer fixtures. Water delivery also remained stable without pressure pulsing during rapid activations.A technical improvement became particularly noticeable during servicing evaluations: the sensing module retained stable activation accuracy near reflective surfaces and bright ambient lighting where earlier matte-black faucets frequently required recalibration.

The Brushed Gold BathSelect Automatic Sensor Faucet (BS109BG) was selected for a commercial restroom where reliability, finish durability, and service access mattered as much as appearance. From an engineering perspective, the sensing system, valve control, and exterior construction are aligned for steady daily use. The brushed gold finish is not just cosmetic; it helps the fixture hold up better in restrooms that see frequent cleaning and continuous traffic. For contractors and maintenance staff, the unit is easier to work with than many low-grade sensor fixtures. Access, stability, and overall fitment support a smoother install and a more predictable ownership experience. A big positive was BathSelect’s customer service. The team gave practical guidance during setup and helped clarify product details quickly, which is valuable when a project schedule is tight. Overall, this model delivers the kind of commercial-grade sensor faucet performance, finish durability, and maintenance efficiency that architects, contractors, and facility teams look for when sourcing a hands-free bathroom fixture. As a Facility Manager, we struggled with false activation on prior units causing water waste. This BathSelect faucet has shown zero false triggers over months, with precise infrared sensing and stable flow. It reduced maintenance calls and improved efficiency.
