BathSelect USA Warranty Policy

BathSelect USA ("BathSelect") provides this warranty exclusively to the original purchaser of BathSelect. To be eligible for this warranty, the accessories must be purchased from BathSelect or an authorized dealer and installed at the original location. This warranty is non-transferable and is void if the product is resold or relocated. BathSelect warrants that the structure and finish of the accessories will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use. This warranty is valid for a period specified below. Claims and Remedies If a BathSelect accessory is found to be defective within the warranty period, the original purchaser must report the defect directly to BathSelect. Upon verification of the defect, BathSelect will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective product with one of equal value. The decision to repair or replace will be made solely by BathSelect. This warranty does not cover damages or defects resulting from misuse, improper installation, alterations, or any use that is not considered normal household usage. BathSelect is not responsible for labor costs, installation fees, or any other expenses incurred in connection with the removal or replacement of the defective product.

BathSelect Product Warranty

Motion Sensor Touchless Faucets

BathSelect ensures its faucets will be leak and drip-free and that all the parts and finishes of its faucets will be free from any defects in material and manufacturing. The Warranty covers 5 Years Manufacturing Defect. The faucet body, ceramic cartridges, and metal finishes in chrome, satin nickel, polished nickel, gold, oil rubbed bronze are factory warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from any manufacturer defects in material and workmanship. BathSelect will repair or replace, free of charge, during the applicable warranty period, any part that proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service. The factory warranty does not include accessories such as: handles, hand showers, cradles, shower heads, hoses, supply lines or drains. If a defect is found in normal residential use, BathSelect reserves the right to determine the potential cause of any damage / defect reported. All original order information is required for any replacement order requests. In no event shall the liability of BathSelect exceed the purchase price of the product.

Shower Systems

Shower systems are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty covers replacement of defective parts, and shall not apply to repair or replacement labor costs, shipping or damages. This warranty is valid for one year from the original consumer purchase, and excludes caused by installation error, or misuse are not covered under warranty. BathSelect reserves the right to determine the potential cause of any damage / defect reported. All original order information is required for any replacement order requests. BathSelect will replace, free of charge, during the applicable warranty period, any part of product that proves to be defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service. In no event shall the liability of BathSelect exceed the purchase price of the product.

BathTubs

All BathSelect bathtubs come with a limited lifetime warranty. This warranty covers defects in the porcelain, cast iron, mineralcast, or acrylic that render the bathtub unsuitable for use. Pre-installed fixtures are covered for mechanical malfunctions for one (1) year. Additionally, cracking, peeling, and lifting of exterior paint are warranted for one (1) year. At BathSelect's discretion, we will repair or replace the bathtub or refund the purchase price. This lifetime warranty applies to the original, non-commercial owner for as long as they own the bathtub, provided it is installed by a qualified and licensed plumber. Commercial purchasers receive a one (1) year limited warranty on the porcelain, cast iron, mineralcast, acrylic, paint, and drain. This warranty does not cover labor, expedited shipping costs, or other expenses related to the repair or replacement of the product. This warranty applies to purchases made on or after January 1, 2013.

Bathroom Vanities

BathSelect warranty for vanities covers manufacturer defects for one year from the date of purchase, applicable only to the original owner and installation. It excludes damage from moving, installation errors, mistreatment, or failure to follow care instructions. Mis-shipped items must be reported within 30 days for a return. The warranty does not include installation costs, labor charges, or damages from abusive treatment, surface scratches, misuse, neglect, handling, or faulty installations. Defective products will be replaced promptly based on availability, and defects must be reported in writing with a detailed description. BathSelect reserves the right to inspect any claimed defective item. This warranty does not cover local building code compliance, natural stone variations (such as veining and spotting), small color variations in concrete sink tops, or ceramic sink top shrinkage and variations due to the firing process.

Faucets

Faucets are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty covers replacement of defective parts, and shall not apply to repair or replacement labor costs, shipping or damages. This warranty is valid for one year from the original consumer purchase, and excludes damage due to improper handling, installation, maintenance, product abuse, or product misuse, whether performed by the consumer or any other party. FontanaShowers® will repair or replace, free of charge, during the applicable warranty period, any part of product that proves to be defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.

Other Products and Accessories

BathSelect warrants other products and accessories purchased after August 1, 2009 to the following: One year Manufacturer Warranty - bathtubs, steam showers, vanities & sinks, are guaranteed to be free from defects in material, workmanship and finish at the time of shipment. Examples of accessories would be: handles, hand showers, cradles, hoses, supply lines or drains. Should any defects develop within one year from the date of purchase, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective part or assembly. This limited warranty covers only replacement of defective parts, and shall not apply to repair or replacement labor costs, shipping or damages. No other liability or obligation is to be assumed. In no event shall the liability of BathSelect exceed the purchase price of the product.Improper installation or alteration of unit and/or installation of additives can affect the integrity of the unit and will void the Warranty.

Installation / Certifications

FontanaShowers® Customer Support Team is ready to assist any customers by providing detailed specification sheets and diagrams for all sold products pertaining to our products installation. However, limited products being produced in our factories overseas, are not guaranteed to meet US inspection requirements. All customers are responsible for install and removal costs of our products in case products do not pass inspection due to lack of specific certification paperwork.

Warranty does not cover:

(1) Conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.
(2) Labor and other expenses for disconnection or return of the product for warranty service, or for installation or reinstallation of the product.
(3) Please note for LED shower the LED light is not covered under the factory warranty. Under normal conditions LED lights should last the lifetime of your shower. However, mineral and residue build up in your water may cause the LED lights to stop working and thus proper maintenance should be conducted to clean your shower head.
(4) Conditions, malfunctions or damage resulting from improper installation, improper maintenance, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident or alteration.
