✥ How Should the Sensor Zone Be Commissioned? +

Commission the faucet only after the basin, countertop and adjacent fixtures are installed. The active infrared sensor provides an adjustable approximately 2 to 6 inch detection range, allowing activation to be coordinated with the final lavatory geometry.

◇ How Quickly Does the Faucet Respond? +

The digital infrared control is specified with an approximately 0.3-second response time. During final testing, verify repeatable hand detection throughout the intended sensing field without false triggering from nearby reflective surfaces.

◯ What Flow Rate Should Be Verified? +

The faucet is specified with a standard 2.2 GPM mesh aerator. If water delivery becomes restricted, inspect the aerator, 50-mesh particle filter, built-in strainer and available dynamic supply pressure before servicing the solenoid.

There should be no searching for controls or learning an unusual sequence—only a well-positioned detection field and predictable water delivery. For the facilities team, I would insist on accessible power and valve components plus straightforward isolation for future servicing. Those requirements are not glamorous, but they determine whether automation remains convenient several years after installation. The simple user interface paired with service-conscious planning makes this a strong high-occupancy solution.
