✥ How Are the Water and Soap Sensors Coordinated? +
The deck-mounted fixture incorporates separate infrared activation zones for soap dispensing and water delivery. The soap sensor is positioned on the side of the spout, while the water sensor is located above the outlet so each function can respond independently.
◇ How Should the Sensor Range Be Commissioned? +
BathSelect specifies a factory detection distance of approximately 25 cm, with normal field sensing adjustable around 4 to 5 inches. Final calibration should be completed after the basin and countertop are installed to prevent false activation from reflective surfaces.
◯ What Is the Rated Flow Performance? +
The faucet uses a standard approximately 2.2 GPM aerator. Stable inlet pressure, clean filtration and an unrestricted outlet should be verified during commissioning to maintain consistent commercial flow performance.
↻ How Fast Does the Electronic Valve Respond? +
The active infrared controller is specified with an approximately 0.3-second response time. Water shuts off approximately 2 seconds after the user's hands leave the detection field, while continuous operation is limited to approximately 60 seconds.
⌁ What Water Pressure Range Is Supported? +
BathSelect lists approximately 10 to 125 PSI in the main commercial specification and 1 to 100 PSI in the extended sensor data. Flush the supply before connection and confirm stable dynamic pressure before commissioning the valve.
⌂ How Is the Solenoid Protected From Debris? +
A built-in serviceable strainer and 50-mesh filtration help prevent supply-line debris from reaching the solenoid valve. During maintenance, isolate the supply, clean the filtration components and confirm unrestricted water flow before restart.
⚡ Which Power Configurations Are Supported? +
The dual-function system supports four AA alkaline batteries or an AC power adapter, allowing battery-backed or hardwired commercial installation. The electronic control operates on a low-voltage DC supply through the specified power system.
⌕ What Should Routine Maintenance Include? +
Clean both infrared sensing areas, inspect the aerator and inlet filtration, verify battery or AC power condition and confirm reliable solenoid shutoff. The soap outlet and pump should also be inspected for consistent dispensing and residue buildup.
