Infrared operation was the practical reason this waterfall faucet made the final specification for our corporate training center. Hundreds of visitors rotate through the building each week, so removing manual faucet contact simplified the handwashing experience without making the washrooms feel institutional. The waterfall outlet adds architectural interest, although the contractor tested stream position against the selected sink before releasing the remaining counters. That verification prevented splash issues. After several large training sessions, facilities considers the combination of touchless operation and controlled presentation well suited to sustained commercial use.

Waterfall Required Testing

Full-scale basin testing was essential with this infrared waterfall faucet. The broad water presentation looked excellent in the design package, but our first mockup showed that discharge position and bowl geometry needed closer coordination to prevent unnecessary splash. After revising the sink relationship, the 1.3 GPM touchless setup performed much better. AC/DC power also suited the renovation conditions. Three stars because the waterfall format demanded more commissioning than a conventional aerated stream, though the completed installation is visually strong and commercially functional.

Balanced Waterflow Stability

Unlike earlier waterfall sensor faucets that frequently produced uneven flow patterns and unstable infrared detection, the BS-STI28763 delivered much more refined performance across upscale commercial restroom installations completed between 2022 and 2026. The waterfall stream remained balanced and controlled, while sensor response stayed reliable even under constant daily use. Internal flow channels and electronic components operated consistently with very limited recalibration required. From both a design and maintenance perspective, this faucet performed more like a true commercial-grade fixture rather than a purely decorative sensor product.

Upon the recommendation of an architect, we decided to install touchless faucets from BathSelect in our business premises. The result has been nothing short of impressive. The sleek design seamlessly blends with our aesthetic preferences, and the touchless functionality adds a modern and hygienic element to our facilities. The architect's suggestion proved to be spot-on, and we're delighted with the overall performance and appearance of these touchless faucets. Highly recommended for businesses seeking a perfect combination of functionality and design.
