✥ How Does the Sensor Self-Calibration Work? +

The microcomputer-controlled infrared system can self-adjust its optimum detection zone according to the color and geometry of the installed lavatory. Complete final commissioning after the basin and surrounding reflective surfaces are permanently installed.

◇ What Sensing Range Does the Faucet Support? +

BathSelect lists a factory detection zone of about 25 cm or 10 inches, while normal field sensing is typically adjusted around 4 to 5 inches. Extended technical data also specifies an active infrared range of approximately 2 to 6 inches.

◯ What Is the Rated Flow Performance? +

The commercial faucet is equipped with a standard 2.2 GPM aerator. During maintenance, verify inlet pressure, inspect the aerator and clean the supply filtration before changing sensor or solenoid settings.

↻ How Does Automatic Shutoff Protection Work? +

The faucet is factory configured with an approximately 30-second automatic shutoff that can be adjusted. Extended electronic protection also limits continuous operation to approximately 60 seconds to reduce unattended or vandal-related water discharge.

The active infrared controller is specified with an approximately 0.3-second response time. After the user's hands leave the sensing field, the solenoid closes after an approximately 2-second shutoff delay.

Rather than continuing to service decorative touchless faucets that frequently developed coating wear and unstable sensor detection, we transitioned several luxury hospitality restroom projects to the Gold Brass between 2023 and 2025. The faucet maintained excellent long-term reliability in demanding guest environments. Its infrared sensing system delivered highly consistent activation, while the brushed gold brass finish resisted corrosion and cleaning-related wear substantially better than earlier luxury fixtures.One technical advantage became especially noticeable over time: the solenoid assembly maintained stable response speed during continuous high-cycle operation, which reduced valve-related maintenance interruptions across multiple properties.

The motion sensor works precisely every time. I don't have to touch this faucet at all. This make it very easy to use specially when my hands are dirty and I just want to rinse them rather than touch the faucet, wash my hands and then wash the faucet.The new Brushed Gold finish is a hit with modern bathroom design enthusiasts.
