Brushed Gold eye-catching design that is both functional with industrial appeal; the Midras BathSelect Brushed Gold Sensor Faucet has been developed with ease in mind. The electronic sensors are sensitive and intuitive to operate and the touch free system means that you don’t need to worry about cross-contamination from germs. The intelligent microchip allows for a pre-set 30 second auto- shutoff and this, along with the drip free design helps prevent water wastage. The faucet is simple to install, fits all standard US plumbing systems, and can be powered by 4 AA alkaline batteries (sold separately) or by AC power depending on facilities and preference. The design is extremely energy efficient and is suitable for commercial use. The product is fully ADA compliant assuring high quality, and it comes with one year warranty giving you extra peace of mind. While this cast brass electronic faucet comes in a brushed gold finish. Commercial infrared touchless faucet with solid brass construction, brushed gold finish, adjustable sensing, AC/DC power options, and up to 1.8 GPM flow performance.

✥ Sensor Calibration Procedure? +
Complete sensor commissioning after installing the faucet, basin, and surrounding fixtures. The specified adjustable detection range is 16–32 cm. Allow approximately 60 seconds after connecting the sensor cable for calibration, then verify reliable hand detection without unintended activation.
◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +
Flush the supply pipe before final connection. Connect the incoming water supply to the control box inlet and the faucet hose to its outlet. Inspect the G1/2-inch connections, inlet strainer, flexible hose, and mounting seals. Verify leak-free operation before commissioning.
◯ Flow Rate Verification? +
The specification lists a maximum flow rate of 1.8 GPM. Verify actual output under normal dynamic pressure conditions. If flow is restricted, inspect the outlet aerator, inlet filtration, flexible supply hose, service stops, and available water pressure before servicing the valve.
↻ Automatic Shutoff Diagnostics? +
The faucet provides an adjustable automatic safety shutoff, factory set to approximately 30 seconds. Sensor opening response is specified below one second, with closing response below two seconds. If water continues flowing, clean the sensor window and inspect the solenoid valve, power supply, and reflective surfaces.

The infrared detection zone is adjustable from approximately 16 to 32 cm according to the product specification. Position the sensor field to detect hands beneath the spout while minimizing reflection from the basin or nearby accessories. Confirm consistent response after final countertop installation.

The BST781GBG specification sheet lists a water pressure range of 0.05–1.2 MPa. Verify the installation's dynamic inlet pressure against this range. Excessive pressure may require regulation, while insufficient pressure can reduce water delivery and affect reliable hydraulic performance.

The specification provides DC 6V operation using four AA alkaline batteries or an AC 220–240V, 50/60Hz supply configuration. While upgrading boutique hospitality restrooms between 2022 and 2024, we installed 13 Midras Brushed Gold Faucets after previous decorative sensors developed coating wear and activation drift. As of 2026, the faucets continue to operate reliably with minimal servicing.The brushed gold finish held its appearance well despite heavy guest traffic and frequent cleaning. Sensor activation remained stable near reflective counters, where earlier luxury fixtures often produced false triggers or delayed response.From a technical maintenance perspective, valve timing and sensor calibration remained uniform across installations. One unit required initial sensitivity adjustment, but no recurring finish or electronic failures have occurred.
