How Should the Sensor Range Be Commissioned?

Complete sensor commissioning after the basin and
surrounding surfaces are installed. The active infrared
system provides an adjustable sensing range of
approximately 2 to 6 inches and can self-adapt to
the color and shape of the lavatory environment.

What Is the Infrared Response Time?
+
The digital infrared control is specified with an
approximately 0.3-second response time. Verify
repeatable activation across the intended sensing
zone and confirm that reflective basin surfaces do
not cause unintended triggering.

What Flow Rate Should Be Verified?

The faucet is specified with a standard 2.2 GPM
mesh aerator. If flow decreases, inspect the aerator,
50-mesh particle filtration, built-in strainer and
available dynamic supply pressure before servicing
the electronic valve.

How Does Automatic Shutoff Operate?

the infrared sensing field clears. An anti-vandal
safety function also limits uninterrupted operation
