✥ Sensor Calibration Procedure? +
Complete sensor commissioning after the basin, countertop and surrounding accessories are installed. The micro-computer controlled infrared system self-adjusts its detection zone, while the sensing range can be fine-tuned where required.
◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +
Flush the supply piping before final connection, verify the DN15 water connections, inspect the built-in strainer for debris, and confirm stable dynamic pressure before commissioning the electronic solenoid assembly.
◯ Flow Rate Verification? +
Verify approximately 2.2 GPM through the standard mesh aerator under normal operating conditions. Restricted discharge should be checked against the aerator, 50-mesh filtration, supply piping, and available dynamic water pressure.
↻ Continuous Water Flow Diagnostics? +
Clean the infrared sensor window, remove reflective interference from the sensing field, confirm stable battery or AC power, and inspect the 6-volt magnet-latching solenoid if water fails to shut off correctly.
⌁ Sensor Detection Range? +
The factory sensing field is approximately 4 to 5 inches and is adjustable during commissioning. Extended technical data specifies a plug-and-play active infrared sensing range of approximately 2 to 6 inches.

Rather than continuing to maintain older commercial sensor faucets that frequently developed inconsistent infrared detection, delayed shutoff response, and premature solenoid failures in high-traffic facilities, we upgraded several hospitality and healthcare restroom projects to the Bravat faucet between 2023 and 2025.The long-term operational consistency of this model has been significantly better than previous systems we managed. Its infrared electronic sensor maintained highly accurate activation with minimal false triggering, while the energy-saving control system consistently regulated water flow timing even during continuous daily usage. The solid brass construction, integrated strainer protection, and sealed electronic assembly also proved substantially more durable and service-friendly than several competing touchless faucet systems previously installed in the same facilities.From a facilities-management standpoint, maintenance requirements remained exceptionally low across multiple locations. Sensor recalibration was rarely needed, battery performance remained stable through extended high-cycle operation, and the matte black finish resisted corrosion, spotting, and coating wear despite aggressive cleaning schedules. Compared to earlier commercial sensor fixtures used in these environments, the Electronic Commercial Faucet noticeably reduced maintenance interruptions while improving overall restroom reliability and hygiene performance.
