✥ Sensor Calibration Procedure? +
Complete sensor commissioning after the basin, countertop and surrounding accessories are installed. The factory sensing position is approximately 4 to 5 inches and can be adjusted to suit the final lavatory geometry.
◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +
Flush the supply piping before final connection, verify the DN15 inlet and outlet connections and inspect the built-in strainer and 50-mesh particle filter before commissioning the electronic valve.
◯ Flow Rate Verification? +
The standard mesh aerator is specified at approximately 2.2 GPM. If discharge becomes restricted, inspect the aerator, particle filtration, dynamic inlet pressure and supply connections.
↻ Continuous Water Flow Diagnostics? +
Clean the infrared sensing area, remove reflective objects from the detection field and inspect the 6-volt magnet-latching solenoid for contamination or incomplete seating. Maximum continuous operation is approximately 60 seconds.

During several airport and healthcare restroom retrofit projects between 2021 and 2024, we installed 18 units of the Bravat Nickel Faucet across high-traffic public washrooms. As of 2026, the systems continue to perform consistently with very few maintenance interventions. The brushed nickel finish maintained appearance quality despite constant exposure to cleaning chemicals and heavy daily usage, while infrared responsiveness remained stable during rapid repeated activations. Water delivery also stayed smooth without irregular stream interruption or excessive splashback. From a technical maintenance standpoint, sensor timing and valve regulation remained highly consistent across all installed locations. One unit required recalibration during early operation, but no long-term electronic or structural issues have been observed.

A few weeks of use and so far everything's great. It looks simple, but the sensors are pretty fantastic. In fact, I like these sensor faucets because I noticed that the handles and our traditional faucets always becomes loose after while, maybe because of the constant use and customers. We bought all 5 sensor faucets, now our bathroom looks quite modern.
