✥ Sensor Calibration Procedure? +
Complete commissioning after the basin, countertop and surrounding fixtures are installed. The micro-computer controlled infrared system self-adjusts its detection zone according to lavatory geometry while allowing sensing distance adjustment where required.
◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +
Flush the supply piping before final connection, inspect inlet filtration and confirm stable dynamic pressure before commissioning the electronic valve. The specified operating pressure is approximately 10–125 PSI.
◯ Flow Rate Verification? +
The standard mesh aerator is rated at approximately 2.2 GPM. If field flow is restricted, inspect the aerator, 50-mesh particle filter and available dynamic water pressure before servicing the solenoid assembly.
↻ Automatic Shutoff Operation? +
The infrared controller is factory configured with an approximately 30-second automatic shutoff period that can be adjusted. Verify positive valve closure during final commissioning.
⌁ Sensor Detection Range? +
The electronic sensor uses adjustable Infrared AI detection for hands-free operation. Final calibration should account for basin depth, countertop reflectivity and nearby fixtures that may influence the sensing field.

Across several hospitality restroom upgrades completed between 2021 and 2024, previous oil-rubbed bronze motion faucets repeatedly experienced delayed shutoff timing and premature finish deterioration. After transitioning to the Dax Bronze Faucet, maintenance consistency improved significantly.The faucet maintained highly dependable infrared responsiveness during continuous guest usage, while the light oil-rubbed bronze finish resisted oxidation and moisture-related surface wear far better than earlier decorative fixtures. The brass internal valve assembly also remained stable during high-cycle operation without the inconsistent flow interruption common in older commercial systems.A technical advantage became especially noticeable during maintenance inspections: the sensor maintained highly accurate activation near darker stone countertops where earlier infrared faucets frequently developed irregular detection behavior and false triggers.
