✥ How Does the Sensor Self-Calibration Work? +
The microcomputer-controlled infrared system evaluates the color and geometry of the installed lavatory and automatically establishes an appropriate detection zone. Complete final commissioning after the basin, countertop and surrounding reflective surfaces are fully installed.
◇ What Is the Sensor Detection Range? +
BathSelect lists an approximately 25 cm factory detection zone, while normal field sensing can be adjusted around 4 to 5 inches. Extended technical data also specifies an active infrared sensing range of approximately 2 to 6 inches.
◯ What Is the Rated Flow Performance? +
The standard aerator is rated at approximately 2.2 GPM. During commissioning, verify unrestricted discharge and stable dynamic supply pressure before adjusting sensor settings or servicing the electronic valve.
↻ How Does Automatic Shutoff Protection Work? +
The controller is factory configured with an approximately 30-second automatic shutoff that can be adjusted. Extended protection limits continuous operation to approximately 60 seconds if an object remains within the sensor field.
⌁ What Water Pressure Range Is Supported? +
BathSelect lists approximately 10 to 125 PSI in the primary commercial specifications. Extended technical information also identifies a 1 to 100 PSI working range. Verify actual dynamic pressure at the installed supply during commissioning.

A built-in serviceable strainer and 50-mesh particle filter help prevent supply-line debris from entering the solenoid valve. Isolate the supply and clean these components periodically in high-traffic commercial installations.
