✥ Sensor Calibration Procedure? +
Complete commissioning after the basin and countertop are installed. The digital infrared system can self-adjust its detection field according to the lavatory geometry, with additional range adjustment available where required.
◇ Sensor Detection Range? +
The active infrared neck-mounted sensor provides an approximately 2–6 inch sensing range. Verify reliable activation and eliminate reflective interference during final commissioning.
◯ Flow Rate Verification? +
The standard aerator is rated at approximately 2.2 GPM. If discharge becomes restricted, inspect the aerator, 50-mesh particle filter, supply pressure, and service connections.
↻ Automatic Shutoff Timing? +
Sensor response is approximately 0.3 seconds with a 2-second shutoff delay. Continuous operation is limited to approximately 60 seconds for anti-vandal and unattended-flow protection.

Many oil-rubbed bronze sensor faucets we previously installed developed unstable shutoff timing and finish oxidation after extended commercial usage. After transitioning to the ORB Brass Faucet between 2022 and 2024, operational consistency improved considerably.The faucet maintained highly accurate infrared responsiveness throughout continuous public usage, while the ORB brass finish resisted moisture exposure, corrosion, and cleaning-related wear substantially better than earlier decorative commercial fixtures. The brass body also remained structurally stable during repeated high-cycle operation.From a technical perspective, the internal sensing module maintained highly stable activation timing despite fluctuations in inlet water pressure and ambient lighting. Earlier ORB fixtures frequently developed calibration drift under those conditions, but this faucet maintained predictable long-term performance across installations.”
