✥ Sensor Calibration Procedure? +
Complete commissioning after the basin, countertop and backsplash are fully installed. The micro-computer controlled sensor self-adjusts according to lavatory geometry, while the sensing range may also be field adjusted for final site conditions.
◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +
Flush the supply before final connection, verify the DN15 water connections, inspect the built-in strainer and 50-mesh particle filter, and confirm stable dynamic pressure before commissioning the solenoid valve.
◯ Flow Rate Verification? +
The standard mesh aerator is rated at approximately 2.2 GPM. If output becomes restricted, inspect the aerator, inlet filtration, supply fittings and available dynamic water pressure.
↻ Automatic Shutoff Performance? +
The faucet uses an approximately 0.3-second sensor response with an approximately 2-second shutoff delay. Continuous activation is limited to approximately 60 seconds, with a factory safety shutoff setting around 30 seconds.
⌁ Sensor Detection Range? +
The active infrared neck-mounted sensor provides an approximately 2-to-6-inch sensing range. BathSelect also identifies a nominal factory setting near 4 to 5 inches that can be adjusted during final commissioning.

After dealing with repeated sensor calibration failures and inconsistent shutoff timing from several lower-grade touchless faucet brands, we upgraded to the Solo automatic faucet across multiple office and healthcare restroom renovations between 2023 and 2025.The difference in reliability was noticeable almost immediately. Sensor activation remained accurate even during constant daily usage, and the infrared AI control system delivered much more stable response timing compared to previous installations. The solid brass body and water-resistant solenoid enclosure also performed well under high-moisture commercial conditions.Maintenance requirements have remained low, with no major valve or sensor replacements required so far. Battery efficiency, water flow consistency, and finish durability have all remained dependable across multiple facilities, helping standardize long-term maintenance planning and improve overall restroom reliability.

After multiple public restroom retrofits revealed ongoing problems with older gooseneck sensor faucets developing delayed shutoff timing and unstable sensing zones, we upgraded several facilities to the Sensor Faucetbetween 2023 and 2025.The faucet maintained highly accurate infrared responsiveness during continuous high-cycle operation. Its gooseneck configuration improved hand clearance and reduced countertop splash accumulation, while the brushed gold finish resisted cleaning-related wear significantly better than earlier commercial fixtures.From a technical perspective, the valve assembly maintained highly consistent shutoff timing even during rapid repeated activations. Earlier faucets installed in the same facilities frequently developed timing inconsistencies under heavy use, but the Sensor Faucet remained operationally stable across all locations.
