Activation Surprisingly Precise	Thursday, March 19, 2026
Reviewer: Aurelius Pembroke, Technology Consultant from Port Angeles, Washington

After replacing several aging automatic soap dispensers that generated recurring complaints about delayed response and irregular soap flow, we selected this Valence hands-free dispenser for multiple municipal restroom modernization projects completed between 2022 and 2025. The most noticeable improvement was activation consistency during heavy daily operation. Earlier units frequently suffered from unstable sensor performance, false triggering near reflective surfaces, and uneven dispensing behavior, whereas this dispenser delivered smoother operation and more predictable soap output. Facilities staff also reported a reduction in service requests compared to previous systems. One installation required minor sensor tuning because of an unusual sink configuration, but once adjusted the unit continued performing reliably with minimal intervention.
