What Is the Factory Detection Zone?

BathSelect specifies a factory detection zone of
approximately 25 cm or 10 inches, while normal field
operation is adjustable around 4 to 5 inches from
the sensor. Final adjustment should minimize reflective
or pass-by activation.

How Are Faucet and Soap Sensors Coordinated?

The faucet and automatic soap dispenser use independent
infrared sensing so water and soap activate only when
hands enter their intended detection zones. Commission
both sensors after installation to prevent cross-triggering
between the two fixtures.

The faucet is factory configured with an approximately
30-second automatic shutoff that can be adjusted.
This limits prolonged unattended water flow if an
object remains continuously inside the infrared
