Mirage Commercial Automatic Motion Sensor Faucet B5101

Comes Complete for easy installation.

Reduces the transfer of germs by preventing cross-contamination and re-contamination of germs and bacteria by not touching the faucets or handles. Cut down on water usage by minimizing waste of water while soaping, lathering, scrubbing, and drying hands by eliminating unnecessary and unattended water flow.

Sensor Activated Faucet Special Features:

  • Durable Vandal-Resistant Brass Body; Ideal for commercial high traffic use applications
  • Intelligent: with its micro-computer controlling its action, the faucet will self adjust its best detection zone as per the color and shape of the lavatory
  • Flashing light indicator; a diagnostic indicator for power up, low battery, and solenoid function.
  • The meaning of the codes is described in the installation instructions.
  • Convenient to maintain, with a built-in strainer to prevent sundries from entering the solenoid valve and the strainer is easy to clean
  • The faucet can be mounted to any sink surface.
  • ADA Compliant.
  • The battery's life is 8,000 cycles per month and with enough water pressure is approx 5 years service life of the batteries.
  • Adjustable sensing range, while the factory range is set about 4"to 5" from the sensor, it can be adjusted.
  • Usage: Commercial
  • Touchless operation; specifically designed for optimal performance in various commercial use applications, making it ideal for public restrooms, restaurants, office buildings, public facilities and hospitals. Fits all standard US plumbing.

Technical FAQs

Commercial infrared touchless faucet with vandal-resistant brass construction, adjustable sensing, AC/DC power and three coordinated finish options.

✥ Sensor Calibration Procedure? +
Complete sensor commissioning after the basin, countertop and surrounding accessories are installed. The factory sensing range is approximately 4 to 5 inches from the sensor and can be adjusted to suit the final lavatory geometry.
◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +
Flush the supply piping before final connection, verify the DN15 inlet and outlet connections and inspect the built-in strainer for debris before commissioning the electronic solenoid valve.
◯ Flow System Verification? +
Verify stable discharge after infrared activation. If water delivery becomes restricted, inspect the outlet, built-in strainer, available dynamic pressure and upstream supply connections.
↻ Continuous Water Flow Diagnostics? +
Clean the infrared sensor window, remove reflective objects from the detection field and inspect the solenoid for debris or incomplete seating. The system is preset to shut off after approximately 30 seconds of unattended operation.
⌁ Sensor Detection Range? +
The sensing field is adjustable during commissioning. BathSelect lists approximately 4 to 5 inches as the factory operating position and approximately 25 cm under its standard inductive-board test condition.
⌂ Operating Water Pressure? +
The technical specification identifies an operating water-pressure range of approximately 0.05 to 0.7 MPa. Maintain stable dynamic pressure for consistent flow and reliable solenoid response.
⚡ Power Supply Options? +
The Mirage sensor platform supports DC6V and AC220V 50/60Hz operation. The product family also supports battery-powered installations using alkaline cells according to the installation setup.
⌕ Routine Maintenance Requirements? +
Periodically clean the infrared sensor and outlet, inspect the built-in strainer, monitor the diagnostic indicator and verify reliable electronic valve activation and complete automatic shutoff.

3 of 5 Maintenance Interruptions Curbed Friday, May 29, 2026
Reviewer: Nolan Holloway, Consultant from Huntsville, AL
Our technology campus operates around the clock, leaving very little opportunity for unexpected restroom repairs. These faucets have significantly reduced maintenance interruptions, enabling our facilities engineers to focus on long-term infrastructure improvements rather than recurring service requests.

4 of 5 Recommended commercial use Thursday, April 30, 2026
Reviewer: Daniel Mercer, Design Consultant from Las Vegas, NV
Unlike earlier matte-black sensor faucets that frequently developed finish fading and unstable activation timing, the Mirage Black Faucet delivered considerably stronger operational consistency after installation across luxury hospitality properties between 2022 and 2024. As of 2026, the units continue to perform reliably with minimal servicing requirements. The matte black finish maintained excellent surface consistency despite aggressive cleaning schedules and continuous guest usage. Infrared responsiveness also remained highly stable near reflective basin surfaces and bright ambient lighting environments where earlier matte-black systems frequently experienced false triggering. From a technical operations standpoint, sensing accuracy and shutoff timing remained highly uniform across all installed units. Minor stream-pressure variations were observed under differing inlet supply conditions, but overall long-term performance has remained stable throughout all locations.”
