LENOX COMMERCIAL FOAM DISPENSER LINE
Lenox Foam Dispenser™
Technical FAQs
Commercial wall-mounted foam soap dispenser with infrared
activation, 1,500 mL reservoir, brass construction and
electronic dispensing control.
✥
How Is the Infrared Sensor Commissioned?
+
Commission the infrared sensor after the dispenser and
adjacent washroom fixtures are installed. The technical
sheet identifies a sensing distance of approximately
15 ± 3 cm. Confirm reliable hand detection without
unintended activation from reflective surfaces.
◇
What Soap Viscosity Is Supported?
+
The specification lists a liquid-soap viscosity range of
100–3500 cP. Confirm the selected soap formulation is
compatible with the foam-dispensing mechanism before
filling the reservoir. Avoid abrasive or particulate
formulations that may obstruct the pump.
◯
How Is the Dispensing Volume Controlled?
+
The specification identifies four dispensing-volume
settings and a nominal output below 2 mL per activation.
Select the appropriate setting during commissioning and
verify consistent dosing with the intended soap formulation.
↻
What Is the Sensor Activation Time?
+
The infrared control is specified with an activation
time of approximately 0.5–1 second. If dispensing becomes
intermittent, inspect the sensor window, power supply,
soap level and dispensing tube before servicing the pump.
⌁
What Is the Reservoir Capacity?
+
The dispenser incorporates a 1,500 mL (0.39-gallon)
soap reservoir. Establish a refill schedule based on
washroom traffic and actual consumption. Inspect the
reservoir seal and soap tubing during replenishment.
⌂
What Power Supply Is Required?
+
The product specification identifies DC 6V operation
using four 1.5V AA alkaline batteries and also lists
an AC-powered configuration. Confirm the supplied
controller and electrical rating before connecting
external power.
⚡
What Installation Access Is Required?
+
Coordinate the wall-mounted dispenser position with
basin reach, sensor clearance and concealed soap-tube
routing. Maintain accessible space for reservoir
refilling, battery replacement, pump inspection and
future service.
⌕
How Is Foam Output Maintained?
+
Clean the dispensing nozzle and infrared window
periodically. Inspect the soap pickup tube, reservoir,
pump connections and power supply. Prime the dispensing
line after cleaning or refilling if the pump has lost
its soap supply.
