✥ How Is the Sensor Range Commissioned? +
Complete sensor commissioning after the faucet, basin and surrounding surfaces are installed. The active infrared sensing field can be adjusted to coordinate hand detection with basin geometry and reduce unintended activation.
◇ What Is the Activation Response Time? +
The infrared control is specified with an approximately 0.3-second response time. Verify repeatable activation across the intended 2 to 6 inch sensing field during final commissioning.
◯ What Flow Rate Should Be Verified? +
The faucet is supplied with a standard 2.2 GPM mesh aerator. If discharge becomes restricted, inspect the aerator, 50-mesh particle filter, supply connections and available dynamic pressure.
↻ How Does Automatic Shutoff Operate? +
The electronic control includes an adjustable automatic shutoff function with a factory setting of approximately 30 seconds. The valve also uses an approximately 2-second closing delay after the sensing field clears.

The body construction feels substantial, and the rose gold matte finish adds both design value and better resistance to visible wear in demanding environments. The mounting and connection arrangement is practical for installers, and the fixture is easier to service than many decorative sensor units that sacrifice access for appearance. That reduces downtime when routine maintenance is needed. A big positive was BathSelect’s customer service. The team gave practical guidance during setup and helped clarify product details quickly, which is valuable when a project schedule is tight. Overall, the product aligns well with high-intent commercial requirements: responsive sensor operation, durable materials, easier service access, and finish quality suited to hospitality, office, and healthcare environments.
