Royal Gold entered the performing arts center specification after donors requested a more distinctive treatment for the renovated patron-level washrooms. Under evening lighting, Monarch Forge carries enough visual weight to complement the lobby architecture without needing decorative countertop accessories around it. The facilities department was initially cautious about introducing gold, so installation was limited to the main performance level first. A full season of concerts and theater events changed that view. Expansion into the remaining patron areas is now included in the next renovation phase.

Royal Gold pushes Monarch Forge toward its most formal expression, but the faucet still has enough structural clarity to prevent the finish from becoming purely ornamental. The sculpted spout, crystal control detail, and contrasting ceramic band already provide multiple visual layers, so I would keep the surrounding vanity relatively restrained. BathSelect lists Royal Gold as a dedicated Monarch Forge finish alongside chrome, nickel, brushed gold, rose gold, bronze, champagne, white, black, and gunmetal variants. BathSelect That breadth is useful when a design team wants the same fixture language across differently styled suites. Gold naturally requires more disciplined cleaning to preserve its presentation. Used against quiet stone and carefully selected lighting, however, the brightness looks deliberate rather than unnecessarily extravagant.
