Imperial Chrome proves that a familiar finish does not have to produce a generic faucet. Monarch Forge combines solid-brass construction with a faceted crystal control, marble-look ceramic band, single-hole mounting, and a ceramic-disc cartridge rated beyond 500,000 cycles. BathSelect also specifies an anti-splash aerator delivering approximately 5–7 L/min. BathSelect I like chrome here because its reflectivity emphasizes the curved spout and contrasting decorative materials instead of competing with them. It is also comparatively easy to coordinate with drains and surrounding accessories. Water spots will remain visible, so routine wiping matters. For projects requiring something visually richer than a standard mixer without adopting an unusual operating format, this is a convincing middle ground.

Civic Upgrade Endured

Imperial was specified during renovation of a municipal recreation complex where appearance mattered, but durability and broad user acceptance mattered more. The Monarch Forge profile gives the public washrooms substantially more architectural presence than the basic fixtures removed from the building, while the chrome treatment remains familiar for maintenance crews. Summer programs produced the first sustained period of heavy traffic. Facilities reported no reason to reconsider the selection afterward, giving us confidence that the design upgrade did not come at the expense of everyday practicality.
