Technical FAQs

Wall-mounted infrared touchless faucet with 0.3-second response, IP56 protection, stainless-steel construction and electronic valve control.

✥ Sensor Calibration Procedure? +

Complete sensor commissioning after the basin, finished wall and surrounding accessories are installed. Verify reliable hand detection throughout the intended washing zone and confirm that reflective surfaces do not cause unintended infrared activation.

◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +

Flush the supply line before final connection, confirm the G1/2" / DN15 fitting is secure and inspect the waterway for construction debris. Verify stable dynamic pressure before commissioning the electronic valve.

◯ What Is the Sensor Response Time? +

The active electronic infrared sensor is specified with an approximately 0.3-second response time, providing rapid hands-free activation for commercial and high-use bathroom applications.

↻ Continuous Water Flow Diagnostics? +

Clean the infrared sensing window, remove reflective objects from the detection field and inspect the water-control assembly for debris. Confirm that the 6V magnet-latching solenoid closes completely after each activation cycle.

⌁ What Water Pressure Is Supported? +

BathSelect specifies an operating pressure range of approximately 0.05–0.8 MPa. Maintain stable dynamic inlet pressure and regulate excessive pressure where required for consistent sensor-valve performance.

⌂ What Power Configuration Is Used? +

The Brio operates from DC 6V using four AA batteries. BathSelect specifies an expected battery service life of approximately 150,000 operating cycles under normal installation conditions.

⚡ How Is the Electronic Assembly Protected? +

The sensor system carries an IP56 protection rating, providing resistance against dust ingress and water exposure associated with normal bathroom and commercial washroom operating environments.

⌕ Routine Maintenance Requirements? +

Periodically clean the sensor window and outlet, inspect supply connections, verify battery condition and confirm reliable solenoid activation and complete automatic shutoff during scheduled maintenance.

No irregular interruption	Wednesday, April 29, 2026
Reviewer: Cameron Reeves, Technology Consultant from Phoenix, AZ

While upgrading executive office restroom facilities between 2023 and 2025, we installed 13 units of the Brio Bronze Faucet after earlier wall-mounted systems repeatedly developed unstable sensor timing and mounting drift. As of 2026, operational reliability remains highly dependable. The oil-rubbed bronze finish resisted moisture exposure and maintenance-related wear exceptionally well under continuous commercial usage. Infrared responsiveness also remained accurate during rapid activation cycles without delayed shutoff behavior. From a technical maintenance standpoint, wall-mount alignment stability and sensing consistency remained highly predictable across installations with varying countertop layouts. No significant structural or electronic failures have been reported.
