    After several hospitality and executive office restroom renovations revealed recurring issues with older bronze sensor faucets developing finish deterioration, unstable infrared timing, and inconsistent shutoff response, we upgraded multiple facilities to the Rubbed Bronze between 2022 and 2024.The faucet delivered noticeably stronger long-term commercial reliability than previous decorative touchless fixtures we had maintained. Infrared activation remained highly accurate during continuous daily usage, while the dark oil-rubbed bronze finish resisted spotting, oxidation, and cleaning-related coating wear significantly better than earlier bronze systems installed in the same environments. The brass valve assembly also handled repeated high-cycle activation without the delayed shutoff behavior we had previously experienced.One technical advantage became especially noticeable during long-term operation: the sensor maintained stable detection performance near darker stone countertops and reflective surfaces where earlier infrared systems frequently required recalibration. The operating performance is strong from a technical standpoint: the sensing window activates quickly, shutoff timing is controlled, and water delivery remains consistent. The rose gold matte finish works especially well in projects where both corrosion resistance and visual presentation matter. For contractors and maintenance staff, the unit is easier to work with than many low-grade sensor fixtures. Access, stability, and overall fitment support a smoother install and a more predictable ownership experience. A big positive was BathSelect’s customer service. The team gave practical guidance during setup and helped clarify product details quickly, which is valuable when a project schedule is tight.     We recently purchased this faucet for our office building bathrooms. We saw another model of this faucet, one which has a  ORB finish. But we like this one better.  much simple to look at and with decent finish.  one of the better sensor faucets seen so far, especially when compared to sensor faucets that we owned earlier.
