Following several luxury hospitality restroom renovations where earlier designer touchless faucets repeatedly developed calibration drift and visible finish wear, we upgraded multiple properties to the Solesmes Brushed between 2022 and 2024.The faucet maintained highly dependable infrared responsiveness throughout continuous guest usage, while the brushed nickel finish resisted spotting, corrosion, and cleaning-related surface degradation substantially better than earlier luxury fixtures. Water delivery also remained smooth and controlled without excessive splashback around shallow designer basins.One technical advantage we observed during long-term operation was the consistency of the infrared sensing field near polished stone countertops and mirrored surfaces.
