✥ How Does the Sensor Self-Calibration Work? +
The microcomputer-controlled infrared system evaluates the color and geometry of the installed lavatory and automatically adjusts the optimum detection zone. Complete final commissioning after the basin, countertop, faucet and soap dispenser are permanently installed.
◇ How Are Soap and Water Sensors Coordinated? +
The faucet and dispenser use independent infrared activation so each function responds only when a hand enters its intended sensing field. During commissioning, verify that soap dispensing does not unintentionally trigger the water sensor and vice versa.
◯ What Water Pressure Range Is Supported? +
BathSelect specifies approximately 0.5 to 7.0 kg/cm², or about 10 to 125 PSI, for this commercial system. Flush the supply line before final connection and verify stable dynamic pressure before commissioning the electronic valve.
↻ How Does the Automatic Shutoff Operate? +
The faucet is factory configured with an approximately 30-second automatic safety shutoff that can be adjusted. This limits prolonged unattended discharge if an object remains inside the sensing field during high-traffic commercial use.
⌁ How Should the Soap Dispenser Be Commissioned? +
Prime the dispenser after filling the reservoir and verify consistent soap delivery at normal hand position. The touchless dispenser should provide a controlled dose without dripping while maintaining enough separation from the faucet sensing field.
⌂ How Should Sensor Interference Be Prevented? +
Install both sensing heads with clear detection paths and avoid reflective objects directly inside either sensor field. Test the completed sink arrangement under normal lighting and basin conditions to confirm stable independent activation of soap and water.
⚡ Which Power Configurations Are Supported? +
The dual sensor system supports AC and DC operation, including hardwired power with battery backup depending on the supplied configuration. Confirm controller, transformer and battery connections before final commissioning.

Our team installed this dual-sensor system during a hospitality renovation project in 2023 and have evaluated its performance through 2026. Earlier faucet-and-dispenser combinations often operated inconsistently, creating user confusion and increasing maintenance requirements. Since installation, both sensors have functioned reliably with consistent activation timing and predictable operation.
