Complete commissioning after the basin, countertop and surrounding accessories are installed. The digital plug-and-play microprocessor controls the infrared sensor, while the 2–6 inch sensing field can be adjusted for reliable hand detection.
◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +
Flush the supply piping before final connection, verify the 1/2-inch NPT male inlet is secure, inspect the 50-mesh particle filter for debris, and confirm stable dynamic water pressure before commissioning the solenoid valve.
◯ Flow Rate Verification? +
Verify approximately 2.2 GPM through the standard aerator under normal operating conditions. Optional 1.0 GPM and 0.5 GPM aerators may be specified where reduced commercial flow is required.

Many decorative oil-rubbed bronze faucets we previously maintained developed unstable infrared timing and oxidation after prolonged hospitality usage. Following upgrades completed between 2021 and 2024, the Bronze Handsfree Faucet demonstrated considerably stronger long-term reliability.The faucet maintained highly responsive touchless activation throughout continuous guest usage, while the oil-rubbed bronze finish resisted moisture exposure and aggressive cleaning schedules significantly better than earlier designer fixtures. Water delivery also remained stable without pressure fluctuation during peak occupancy periods.A technical advantage became especially apparent during maintenance inspections: the internal sensor assembly maintained highly accurate detection near darker countertops and mirrored surfaces where earlier bronze sensor faucets frequently produced inconsistent activation behavior.
