✥ Sensor Calibration Procedure? +
Complete sensor commissioning after the basin, countertop and backsplash are fully installed. The micro-computer controlled infrared system self-adjusts its detection zone according to lavatory color and geometry, while manual range adjustment remains available where required.
◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +
Flush the supply before final connection, confirm the DN15 inlet and outlet connections, inspect the built-in strainer for debris and verify stable dynamic pressure before commissioning the electronic solenoid valve.
◯ Operating Pressure Range? +
The published operating pressure is approximately 0.05 to 0.7 MPa. Maintain stable dynamic supply pressure and regulate excessive pressure where necessary to preserve consistent discharge and reliable valve operation.

Instead of continuing to service decorative rose-gold faucets that regularly drifted out of calibration, we upgraded several hospitality restroom installations to the Marsala Deck Mount between 2022 and 2024. The difference in long-term sensor stability was immediately noticeable.Its infrared activation remained highly responsive during heavy guest usage, while the rose-gold finish maintained color consistency and resisted cleaning-related wear far better than earlier designer fixtures. The faucet also delivered a more controlled stream pattern with reduced splashback around shallow basins.One technical improvement we consistently observed was the stability of the detection field near reflective countertops and mirrored surfaces. Previous decorative faucets frequently required sensor adjustment in those environments, but this unit maintained reliable activation accuracy with minimal recalibration.

After several earlier deck-mounted sensor faucets developed loose fittings and inconsistent water timing, we specified the BST9868RG-SF for commercial restroom upgrades completed between 2021 and 2025. The Marsala system delivered noticeably stronger mounting stability and smoother infrared operation. Sensor range remained predictable, and the internal solenoid assembly operated reliably with very limited servicing required over multiple installations. Compared to previous systems used in the same facilities, this faucet produced a more consistent user experience while reducing ongoing maintenance interruptions.
