Technical FAQs

Commercial infrared touchless faucet with solid brass construction, adjustable sensing, AC/DC power, electronic valve control and three finish options.

✥ Sensor Calibration Procedure? +
Complete sensor commissioning after the basin, countertop and surrounding surfaces are installed. BathSelect specifies an adjustable sensing field with a factory reference of approximately 4 to 5 inches, allowing final calibration to suit lavatory geometry.
◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +
Flush the supply line before final connection, verify inlet pressure, inspect the built-in strainer for debris and confirm secure hose and valve connections before commissioning the faucet.
◯ Flow Rate Verification? +
The extended product information identifies a 2.2 GPM standard aerator. If discharge becomes restricted, inspect the aerator, inlet strainer, available dynamic pressure and service connections.
↻ Continuous Water Flow Diagnostics? +
Clean the infrared sensor window, remove reflective objects from the detection field and inspect the solenoid valve for contamination or incomplete seating. The faucet also incorporates automatic shutoff control.
⌁ Sensor Detection Range? +
BathSelect lists a factory sensing reference of approximately 25 cm under standard test conditions, with the working sensing range adjustable during commissioning for the installed basin configuration.
⌂ Operating Water Pressure? +
The Conto technical information specifies an operating pressure range of approximately 0.05 to 0.7 MPa, while the product description also references approximately 10 to 125 PSI.
⚡ Power Supply Options? +
The Conto platform supports DC6V operation and the product documentation also lists AC110V and DC6V power configurations. Confirm the selected electrical arrangement before commissioning the infrared system.
⌕ Routine Maintenance Requirements? +
Periodically clean the sensor window and aerator, inspect the built-in strainer, remove mineral buildup and verify reliable solenoid opening and complete automatic shutoff during scheduled maintenance.

4 of 5 Service Simplified Sunday, July 19, 2026
Reviewer: Owen Whitaker, Analyst from Spokane, WA
After replacing several older sensor faucets, our maintenance requests dropped noticeably. The faucet activates consistently throughout the day, and its dependable operation has allowed our facility team to focus on preventive maintenance instead of unexpected repairs.

4 of 5 No sensor lag Wednesday, April 15, 2026
Reviewer: Jordan Whitaker, Technology Consultant from Seattle, WA
Following several office restroom upgrades where older matte black sensor faucets repeatedly developed coating wear and unstable activation zones, we replaced multiple fixtures with the Rubbed Bronze between 2023 and 2025.The faucet maintained highly dependable infrared responsiveness during continuous daily usage, while the matte black finish resisted fingerprints and surface fading better than previous commercial fixtures. The brass valve assembly also delivered smoother shutoff control with fewer maintenance adjustments.A technical improvement we observed was the consistency of the sensing field near reflective sink surfaces, which significantly reduced false activations compared to earlier matte black touchless systems.

Without a doubt this motion sensor faucet is of the highest quality we just placed those in our restaurant and they look fantastic they go well with our sink and backsplash although we had to modify the timing the detecting sensor works well an excellent choice our only issue was the delivery it stated that it would ship within 24 hours but ours arrived two days later we are still pleased with our purchase
