Although the instructions were not too clear but a novice would still be able to do the installation. They even have a nice video how to install. Overall the assembly for this Two Function Horizontal Chrome Diverter Shower Controller Mixer was straight forward. The hot and cold hoses were color coded for easy ref ofcourse Red for hot and blue for cold, and they are attached to the mixer valve, which are simply color coded too. You can adjust the temperature and set it to your desired comfort or the client deired comfort by turning the mixer knob and leave it there for good. I had installed this mixer back in March. I highly recommend this product and will give it a 5 star for quality, 5 star for design, 5 star for finish, 4.5 star for ease of installations, and 4.5 star for shipping speed.
