I don't evaluate premium shower systems by showroom appearance anymore. Instead, I estimate what they'll cost my client over the next decade in maintenance, replacement parts, and labor. This concealed brushed gold system ranked exceptionally well because every serviceable component was thoughtfully engineered and the installation documentation reduced future uncertainty. Twenty-two months after completion, I've returned to the residence twice for unrelated work and intentionally inspected the shower each time. The concealed mixer still operates with remarkable precision, the finish remains flawless, and there hasn't been a single warranty request. This bathroom went through three design revisions before construction began, and every value-engineering meeting suggested simplifying the shower specification. I resisted because the concealed mixer, brushed gold finish, and balanced layout matched the quality level expected throughout the home. Nearly two years after completion, the owners invited me back to discuss a guest house addition. Before we reviewed new plans, they thanked me for refusing those earlier compromises.
