4 of 5 Luxury Shed Passivity Sunday, August 23, 2026
Reviewer: Nicholas Everhart from Coronado, CA
Our coastal spa suites already had a strong brushed-gold design language, so another conventional shower set would have improved appearance without materially changing the guest experience. Choosing the sensor-controlled automatic system added the missing functional layer. Guests encounter a premium finish alongside a more responsive bathing interaction, and the technology does not dominate the room visually. Operations trialed several suites during a high-occupancy weekend before approving the specification. The combination has made the shower feel like an amenity upgrade rather than simply newer decorative hardware.

3 of 5 Luxury Escaped Passivity Friday, June 5, 2026
Reviewer: Thomas Fairburn from Coronado, CA
Our coastal spa had plenty of attractive brushed-gold hardware, but ownership wanted the new treatment-suite showers to contribute something beyond finish coordination. The sensor-controlled automatic set introduced a functional distinction while preserving the refined visual language already established in the rooms. Therapists tested guest interaction during soft opening and found little need for instruction. Facilities appreciated that the technology could be evaluated independently before additional suites were converted. The result feels more purposeful than another decorative upgrade: the shower looks premium, but its automation also changes how the space actually operates.
