✥ How Should the Sensor Range Be Commissioned? +
The active infrared neck-mounted sensor supports an approximately 2 to 6 inch sensing range. Complete final commissioning after the basin and surrounding surfaces are installed, then verify stable hand detection without false activation.
◇ How Fast Does the Bishop Faucet Respond? +
BathSelect specifies an approximately 0.3-second response after valid hand detection. The electronic valve closes approximately 2 seconds after the user leaves the sensing field for controlled commercial operation.
◯ What Is the Rated Flow Performance? +
The standard aerator is rated at approximately 2.2 GPM. During commissioning, verify stable discharge at operating pressure and inspect the outlet and filtration if flow becomes restricted.
↻ How Does Anti-Vandal Shutoff Work? +
The digital controller limits continuous water operation to approximately 60 seconds. If an object remains inside the sensing field, the valve shuts off automatically to reduce unattended water use and vandal-related discharge.
⌁ What Water Pressure Range Is Supported? +
BathSelect specifies approximately 1 to 100 PSI working pressure for the Bishop faucet. Flush the supply before final connection and verify stable dynamic pressure at the 1/2-inch NPT male inlet.

While renovating several upscale hospitality restrooms between 2023 and 2025, we replaced older polished gold faucets that repeatedly developed unstable flow timing and coating wear near reflective basin surfaces. The Gold Bishop Faucet delivered noticeably stronger reliability throughout long-term guest usage.Its infrared responsiveness remained highly accurate during repeated activation cycles, while the polished gold finish resisted spotting and cleaning-related wear substantially better than earlier decorative fixtures. The faucet also maintained controlled water delivery without excessive splashback.From a technical perspective, the sensing module maintained highly stable calibration near mirrored backsplashes and polished stone countertops where previous decorative sensor faucets frequently produced irregular activation behavior.
