Romo Wall Mount Commercial Sensor Faucet Oil Rubbed Bronze FAQ
Wall-Mount Geometry, Infrared Control & Concealed Service Access
This oil rubbed bronze commercial faucet combines wall-mounted installation, automatic infrared activation, electronically controlled water delivery, and durable construction for high-use wash stations.
Why is spout projection especially important with the wall-mounted Romo faucet?
The outlet must project far enough over the basin to place the water stream inside the usable wash zone without excessive backsplash. Correct rough-in positioning also keeps the sensor aligned with the user's natural hand position.
How does the faucet stop water after a user moves away?
The infrared controller continuously monitors its active sensing field. When hands are no longer detected, the control signal changes and the solenoid valve closes automatically, ending water delivery without requiring physical contact.
What should be established before the finished wall is closed?
Installers should verify supply routing, valve position, sensor and power connections, finished-wall thickness, spout centerline, and basin relationship during rough-in. Correct coordination prevents the trim from sitting too deep or projecting incorrectly after finishing.
Which concealed parts should remain reachable for future servicing?
Access should be maintained to the solenoid valve, inlet filtration, electrical connections, sensor controls, and water-supply fittings. A planned service route allows maintenance without unnecessarily removing tile or other finished wall materials.
