✥ Sensor Calibration Procedure? +
Complete commissioning after the basin, countertop and surrounding accessories are installed. The micro-computer controlled infrared sensor automatically adapts to the lavatory geometry, while the sensing field can be adjusted where site conditions require it.
◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +
Flush the supply piping before final connection, verify the DN15 inlet and outlet connections, inspect the built-in strainer for debris, and confirm stable dynamic pressure before commissioning the electronic solenoid assembly.
◯ Flow Performance Verification? +
Verify stable discharge under normal operating conditions and confirm the aerator and filtration remain unobstructed. Restricted flow should be checked against supply pressure, inlet filtration, and outlet condition before sensor adjustment.
↻ Continuous Water Flow Diagnostics? +
Clean the infrared sensor window, remove reflective objects from the detection field, verify stable AC or battery power, and inspect the electronic solenoid valve if water fails to shut off after the user leaves the sensing zone.

The factory sensing field is approximately 25 cm / 10 inches and is adjustable during commissioning. The product documentation also lists an adjustable detection range of approximately 16–32 cm depending on installation conditions.

During several luxury hospitality restroom renovations completed between 2022 and 2024, older gold motion-sensor faucets repeatedly developed calibration drift and unstable shutoff timing under continuous guest usage. The Bravat Gold Faucet delivered a much more refined operational profile after installation.Its infrared responsiveness remained highly accurate during rapid repeated activation cycles, while the gold finish resisted spotting and cleaning-related wear exceptionally well. The faucet also maintained smooth and controlled water delivery without the irregular flow interruption common with earlier decorative sensor systems.One technical improvement became particularly noticeable during long-term operation: the sensing module maintained stable activation timing despite fluctuations in ambient lighting and varying sink depths, reducing recalibration requests across installations.

I have been planning to buy sensor faucets to the bathrooms for quite some time and I instantly loved the design of this model. Being able to go through the installation instructions and the FAQ they have on this website was also a plus, I like to get as much information as possible on what I get for my money.  only had it for some days, but so far I am very satisfied with how it works, it was a good investment.

Since I had it installed I haven't really had any issues. If you use anything than 4AA alkaline batteries though then you'll be changing batteries regularly.
