Slight Calibration Benefit

We installed 15 wall-mounted commercial sensor faucets across municipal and transportation restroom projects between 2022 and 2025, and by 2026 the operational reliability has remained noticeably stronger than older wall-mounted fixtures previously maintained in the same high-traffic facilities. Earlier sensor faucets repeatedly developed unstable infrared activation near reflective surfaces, inconsistent shutoff timing, and mounting instability under continuous public usage, whereas this faucet maintained highly accurate sensor responsiveness with minimal false triggering throughout heavy daily operation. The wall-mounted design also improved cleaning accessibility while reducing countertop water accumulation that had previously created additional maintenance concerns. During the early installation phase, a few deeper basin configurations required minor sensitivity adjustments, but once standardized the valve regulation, infrared timing consistency, and overall servicing stability remained highly dependable across all operating environments with significantly fewer maintenance interruptions than earlier commercial systems.

Sensor Lifecycle Review

We installed 32 of the BS9087-SF wall-mounted sensor faucets across two office buildings between 2019 and 2020. As of 2026, overall failure rate remains low, with three solenoid-related replacements and one sensor module recalibration. All replacements function correctly, but we did notice a slight difference in sensor activation range and shutoff timing compared to the original batch.
