This matte black commercial faucet combines a vandal-resistant brass body, self-adaptive infrared sensing, adjustable detection, AC/DC power, and a water-resistant solenoid enclosure.

How does the Clares adapt its sensor to different lavatory surfaces?
A microcomputer evaluates the lavatory environment and automatically optimizes the infrared detection zone according to the basin's shape and surface characteristics. The factory sensing range can also be adjusted when site conditions require additional calibration.
What does the flashing indicator help maintenance teams diagnose?
The integrated indicator communicates operating conditions associated with power-up, low battery status, and solenoid function. This provides technicians with a quick diagnostic reference before opening the control enclosure for further inspection.
Why is the 30-second automatic timeout important in a high-traffic restroom?
If an object remains continuously inside the detection field, the faucet stops water delivery after the preset interval. This limits unattended discharge and provides an additional safeguard against unnecessary commercial water consumption.
Can this faucet remain operational if mains power is interrupted?
Yes. The control system supports mains power with battery backup, allowing the battery pack to take over during a power interruption. Keeping the power box accessible also simplifies battery replacement and electrical servicing.

Instead of replacing matte-black designer faucets every few years due to finish fading and unstable sensor behavior, we installed 12 units of the Clares Black Faucet across hospitality restroom renovations completed between 2022 and 2024. As of 2026, the systems continue to perform reliably with very limited servicing requirements.The matte black finish maintained excellent visual consistency despite aggressive cleaning schedules and heavy guest usage. Sensor activation also remained highly accurate near reflective basin surfaces and bright ambient lighting environments where earlier matte-black systems frequently produced false triggering.From a technical maintenance standpoint, sensing calibration and valve timing remained highly stable throughout all installations. Minor stream-pressure variation was noted under fluctuating supply conditions, but overall operational performance remained dependable.

With the faucet, we are quite pleased. unlike any other sensor faucet that was attempted. This faucet's sensor functions effectively, and we haven't experienced any issues getting it to turn on or off. One of the better sensor faucets that has been tried thus far.
