    PRODUCT FAQ

Hydrostatic Pressure Management, Accessibility Engineering & Thermal Stability

A walk-in tub must optimize entry safety, pressure resistance, and internal temperature retention.

How is hydrostatic pressure handled across vertical tub walls?
Reinforced acrylic panels distribute water pressure evenly to prevent deformation.
What engineering features improve accessibility for mobility users?
Low-threshold entry and ergonomic seating reduce physical strain during ingress and egress.
How does the system maintain consistent water temperature during use?
Insulated shell structure minimizes heat dissipation over time.
Does door height influence sealing pressure distribution?
Extended door height increases sealing surface area, improving leak resistance.

4 of 5 Lower Maintenance Over Time April 28, 2026
Reviewer: Daniel Fischer, Senior Facilities Engineer from Denver, CO
We incorporated 11 units of BST10006 Genoa walk-in tubs across senior housing projects between 2023 and 2025. By 2026, all units remain operational with only minor seal and control adjustments required. Previous walk-in tubs often had difficult entry thresholds, inconsistent drainage, and weaker door assemblies. The Genoa system solved these issues with improved accessibility, stronger enclosure stability, and more reliable drainage performance. The acrylic body and reinforced door structure have remained stable without visible stress cracking or alignment issues. Water flow and jet pressure consistency also remained reliable across production batches. Overall maintenance has been low, and user experience has remained consistent across installations.

    4 of 5 Quiet Jet Recovery January 18, 2026
Reviewer: Arcwell Studio Architects from Chicago, IL, U.S.
As an architect on an aging-in-place remodel, we needed a safer bath without losing the spa feel. The AC-powered hydro system recovered quietly after each cycle, the hand-shower flow remained usable in the 45-75 psi range, and the brass controls inspired more confidence than decorative plated trim. The glossy acrylic finish also cleaned up well.

    5 of 5 Premium Access January 15, 2026
Reviewer: Axis Interiors from Portland, OR
For the Genoa High installation, on an accessibility retrofit, the door seal compression, drain evacuation, and jet balance were stronger than expected. Support sent install notes and parts confirmation quickly; they stayed on the line through commissioning. The crate arrived square and well padded. It was a clear upgrade in consistency and service. I would specify it again.
