Use case
We used the Lima waterfall and rainfall shower set in several primary-bath remodels and two hospitality-suite upgrades where the design brief called for a more immersive overhead shower experience without giving up thermostatic stability. The appeal was the dual rainfall and waterfall presentation, but from a contractor standpoint the real question was whether the system could stay consistent across repeat installs and daily use.
Installation
Installation has been predictable across projects once rough-in planning was held accurately. Valve positioning and trim alignment remained consistent, which helped on repeat installations. On one later install, the internal feel of the control cartridge was slightly different from an earlier batch, but compatibility remained intact and there was no need for wall rework or trim modification.
Performance
Performance has been solid. The rainfall coverage is even, and the waterfall mode gives a distinct flow profile without causing unstable switching behavior. Thermostatic control has stayed steady with no noticeable hot/cold drift during normal use. Across higher-use guest environments, we have not seen systemic valve failures or pressure instability, which is usually where feature-heavy decorative systems start to show weakness.
Finish
Finish durability has held up well overall under regular cleaning cycles. In a few higher-touch areas there is minor wear consistent with normal use, but no peeling, corrosion, or coating failure. The visible trim still presents cleanly, which matters on a shower system where the waterfall face and exposed controls are a major part of the finished look.
Support experience
BathSelect support was helpful when confirming replacement-part availability before we standardized this model across multiple projects. Parts support appears reliable, which matters when you want to keep finish and valve-service continuity over time. That kind of parts access reduces maintenance risk compared with shower sets that are difficult to service a few years after installation.
Review Answers (Performance Proof)
- Project type? Residential + light hospitality installations.
- How was installation? Predictable rough-in and trim fit; minor cartridge-feel variation across batches but no compatibility issues.
- How is water pressure? Stable across rainfall and waterfall modes with no noticeable outlet starvation.
- Temperature stability? Thermostatic control has remained steady with no meaningful drift.
- Finish durability? Minor normal wear on high-touch trim; no peeling or structural coating failure.
- Recommend for commercial use? Yes for hospitality suites and premium managed properties with standard preventive maintenance.
- Customer service? Helpful on parts and continuity questions; support reduced long-term maintenance uncertainty.
