We used the Yecla LED Music thermostatic shower set in a mix of upscale residential primary baths and a small hospitality retrofit where the brief was more than just aesthetics. The project team wanted a matte black smart-style shower system with integrated lighting and music, but we still needed dependable thermostatic behavior and repeatable installation details across rooms.

Installation has been consistent across installs, especially on valve positioning and trim alignment. The recessed assembly takes planning, but once rough-in dimensions were held correctly, final trim-out was predictable. On later installs, the electronic components and control feel were slightly refined compared with the first set we received, but there were no compatibility problems and no need to reopen finished walls.

Performance has been solid. The thermostatic valve holds temperature steadily during normal switching, and we have not seen pressure instability that would undermine the experience on a feature shower like this. The integrated music function has remained usable without noise issues on the low-voltage setup, and the LED operation has been stable in humid bathroom conditions. Across higher-use rooms, there have been no systemic failures in the showering functions themselves.

The matte black finish has held up well overall. A few high-touch points show the kind of slight wear you expect over time on darker trim, but we have not seen peeling, coating breakdown, or mismatched surface appearance between the visible components. The set still presents as a cohesive premium system after regular cleaning cycles.
