Balanced Thermal Control Sunday, May 3, 2026 Reviewer: Claire Donovan, Systems Consultant from Albany, NY   After several public facility restroom projects exposed recurring problems with automatic thermostatic faucets developing unstable temperature output and inconsistent motion sensing, we transitioned multiple installations to the Motion Sensor Faucet between 2022 and 2024.The faucet maintained highly dependable thermal regulation during continuous high-cycle usage. Sensor activation remained responsive even during rapid repeated operation, while the thermostatic mixing system delivered smoother and more predictable temperature control than earlier commercial sensor taps we had maintained. The solid brass internal assembly also handled long-term commercial operation exceptionally well under fluctuating pressure conditions.A technical advantage we noticed during maintenance evaluations was the separation between the thermostatic and sensing functions inside the control assembly.
