Following several commercial restroom modernization projects between 2022 and 2024, we replaced older wall-mounted touchless faucets that frequently suffered from inconsistent infrared detection, difficult maintenance access, and premature solenoid failures under continuous daily usage. The BathSelect Chrome delivered a substantially more dependable long-term performance profile. Its Infrared AI Smart-Chip maintained accurate hand detection with minimal false activations, while the adjustable 30-second auto shutoff consistently regulated water flow during high-traffic operation. The solid brass construction, IP56-rated water-resistant solenoid enclosure, and AC/DC dual-power configuration also proved significantly more durable and service-friendly than several competing wall-mounted sensor systems we had previously maintained. What stood out most operationally was the consistency across multiple facilities. Sensor calibration rarely required adjustment, mounting stability remained excellent, and maintenance teams appreciated the simplified retrofit compatibility with standard US plumbing systems. Compared to earlier commercial touchless fixtures used in the same environments, the BathSelect Chrome noticeably reduced maintenance interruptions while improving overall restroom hygiene performance and long-term operational reliability.
