Sensor Precision May 2, 2026 Reviewer: Victoria Harper, Infrastructure Consultant from Seattle, WA   After several airport restroom retrofit projects exposed reliability problems with older commercial faucets, we installed 18 units of the Plato Sensor Faucet between 2023 and 2025 across high-traffic facilities. As of 2026, the units continue to perform consistently with very few maintenance interventions required.The brushed nickel finish resisted spotting and chemical-cleaning exposure substantially better than previous public-use fixtures, while infrared responsiveness remained highly accurate during continuous high-cycle operation. Water delivery also remained smooth without irregular stream interruption.From a technical servicing perspective, sensor calibration and valve timing remained highly predictable across all installation environments.
