We installed 15 oil-rubbed bronze automatic sensor faucets across transportation and public restroom modernization projects between 2021 and 2025, and by 2026 the operational consistency has remained significantly more dependable than earlier decorative touchless systems previously maintained in the same high-traffic environments. Older oil-rubbed bronze commercial faucets repeatedly developed unstable infrared response, premature finish wear from aggressive maintenance exposure, and inconsistent valve timing during continuous public usage, whereas this faucet maintained highly stable sensor activation with smooth and balanced water delivery throughout heavy daily operation. Previous decorative commercial units also struggled with false triggering near reflective wall materials and frequently required maintenance visits to stabilize calibration settings, while this system maintained noticeably stronger infrared consistency with fewer servicing interruptions overall. Facility maintenance teams initially performed slight sensitivity adjustments on several deeper basin installations, but once standardized the valve regulation, activation reliability, and long-term operational stability remained highly uniform across all installed locations.
