Earlier brushed-nickel systems frequently required ongoing recalibration near polished sink surfaces and often produced uneven water flow behavior under fluctuating inlet-pressure conditions, whereas this faucet maintained highly dependable infrared responsiveness with balanced water delivery throughout continuous daily operation. Previous commercial units also showed visible finish wear much earlier under aggressive maintenance exposure, while this brushed finish retained a noticeably cleaner appearance with lower upkeep requirements overall. Several sink configurations initially required minor sensor refinements during installation, but once calibrated the valve consistency, infrared stability, and servicing reliability remained highly dependable across all installed locations.
