Following several hospitality restroom renovations where previous automatic faucets frequently developed inconsistent sensor timing, weak solenoid response, and premature electronic failures under continuous guest usage, we upgraded multiple properties to the Rubbed Bronze between 2022 and 2024.The faucet delivered noticeably stronger operational reliability during long-term commercial use. Its infrared sensing system maintained highly accurate hand detection with minimal false activations, while the internal brass valve assembly handled repeated high-cycle operation far better than earlier touchless fixtures we had serviced. The faucet also maintained stable shutoff timing during peak occupancy periods where previous systems commonly experienced delayed closure or flow inconsistency.One technical improvement that became especially noticeable during maintenance evaluations was the stability of the sensor calibration under varying ambient lighting conditions. Unlike earlier commercial faucets that frequently drifted out of range near reflective countertops and mirrors, the B517 maintained consistent activation performance with very little recalibration required. Maintenance teams also reported easier servicing access due to the simplified internal component layout, which reduced downtime during scheduled inspections.
