After several senior-care and healthcare restroom projects revealed recurring issues with older all-in-one thermostatic faucets developing unstable temperature output and delayed sensor response, we upgraded multiple facilities to the Milano Sensor Faucet between 2021 and 2024.The faucet delivered substantially stronger thermal consistency during continuous commercial usage. Its integrated thermostatic assembly maintained highly stable temperature regulation despite fluctuations in building supply pressure, while the infrared sensing system remained accurate during rapid repeated activations throughout the day. The compact all-in-one structure also reduced exposed connection points, improving long-term durability in moisture-heavy environments.One technical improvement that stood out during extended operation was the separation between the sensor-control and thermostatic regulation systems inside the internal assembly. This reduced calibration drift and prevented temperature fluctuations from affecting infrared responsiveness — a recurring issue we had experienced with earlier integrated sensor faucets. Maintenance teams also appreciated the simplified service access compared to older multi-component thermostatic systems.
